Welcome to Adams County
ATTENTION ALL ADAMS COUNTY
Some time between NOW and JANUARY 31, 2021 the Adams County 911 Center will be hosting a 3 day event for the Vaccination of Emergency Personnel. At this time we do not have the exact Dates and Times. As we get more information we will post it here and on our Facebook page. We have placed a signup sheet on the main Menu, "Assist at 911 Center" where you can sign up to help. We will create a schedule so that no one will have to work the entire time and that those who are working will get breaks. If you can't or do not want to sign up here you can call Mark at 717-752-0463 or Steve at 717-275-5135 and ask any questions or advise them to put you on the list. The more Fire Police that volunteer the less time each person will have to work.
Thanks ahead of time

We want to thank all members that attended the meeting this past Monday. The next SCHEDULED meeting is February 8, 2021. At this time we are not certain if we will have a meeting at that time. If we do it will probably be held at Gettysburg FD again but that could change. Watch here for further instructions. We did select a nomination committee so if you are interested in running for an office you can contact Mike Wassuta, Don Wolfe or Mike McGlaughlin.
Due to COVID 19 guidelines the 911 Center is closed for general uses. They will remain closed for the months of January, February and March.
Attention Fire Police Incident Commanders. Due to all the Civil Unrest around the Country it has been recommended by the Pa Fire Police Assoc. that no Fire Police Officer be assigned or stationed at any site or intersection alone. We realize our numbers are low but for safety sake try to assign 2 or 3 Officers at any post. Additionally, the FBI has issued a notice that there could be ARMED protests at all 50 State Capitals between now and January 20, 2021 so be CAUTIOUS while out on calls.
